Adecco is currently recruiting for an Java Developer – Intermediate for a 5.5-Month contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Kanata, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it.

 

The Java Developer – Intermediate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Understands and interprets functional requirements as set forth in the functional design documents.
  • Designs, develops and unit tests technical solutions for moderate to complex work objects assigned.
  • Analyzes technical solutions that will satisfy the functional requirements.
  • Prepares and Implements the technical solution to the production environment.
  • Experience with various technologies and standards (e.g. Java, J2EE, Swing, etc.).
  • Provides support to test teams during product and UAT testing of the technical solution developed.
  • Investigates and provides post implementation support of the technical solution implemented.

 

The Java Developer – Intermediate must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years, significant position related experience required
  • Front End experience, CSS, Foundations, bootstrap
  • Strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal + collaboration skills

 

Nice to have:

  • Agile experience
