Are you a recent bilingual university graduate looking to work in the field of neutral language processing for a company that many dream about? Our client, a multinational technology company on Glassdoor's annual list of 50 best places to work, is looking for a French Canadian to join their team as a Junior Associate Linguist. In this role, you will participate in the development and improvement of natural language processing which includes:

  • Development, maintenance and improvement of the quality of natural language processing systems
  • Training and/or evaluating dialogue or natural language processing systems, identifying errors / regressions and proposing solutions
  • Linguistic consultation on automatic processing applied to a language and/or on dialogue analysis/modeling
  • Guarantee the quality of linguistic output for users in human-machine dialogues
  • Job Requirements:

  • Native speaker of Canadian French and fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree in linguistics or computer linguistics and/or related disciplines
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and have an interest in natural language processing
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and be comfortable working with various technologies and interfaces
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of a programming language or previous experience working in a Linux environment is a definite asset
  • Ability to work remotely from home and/or travel to Montreal office
  • Salary Range: $24 - $28 per hour
