Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Junior Buyer to work in Markham, ON. Our client is recognized as one of the world’s leading manufacturing companies. To qualify for this job, you must have 3 years plus as a Buyer and experience working with Oracle.

  • Pay rate: $20.00/hour to $23.00 /hour
  • Location: Markham, ON (Transit Accessible)
  • Shifts: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday
  • Job type: Full-time contract

    • Job responsibilities include:

  • Working with suppliers to place orders, track shipments and cut POs 
  • Majority of the day wil be focuses on Supplier calls and follow ups
  • Preparing, maintaining, and reviewing purchasing files, reports, and price lists. Updating the supplier database and related documentation, as required.
  • Placing non-inventory purchase orders in support of other departments within the organization.
  • Creating statistical reports tracking vendor performance and other key performance indicators.

    • To qualify, you should:

  • Experience with Oracle is a Must Have 
  • 3+ years of Buyer or Purchasing hands on experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Data entry experience and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook are a must
  • Positive attitude, flexible and willing to learn
  • Previous experience as a procurement or supply chain is an asset
