Junior Talent Specialist

Adecco is currently searching for a Junior Talent Specialist to work remotely with our centralized talent hub, specializing in Screening & Assessment. Looking to dive deep into a specialized area of recruitment and learn? We will provide the training necessary to help you be a successful contributor within our Adecco Central Delivery team across Canada!

In this role you will be focused on creating an exceptional candidate experience, conduct and complete prescreening activities for candidates sourced by the Strategic Sourcing team to determine if they meet the minimum requirements to join the Talent Pool, or to be submitted to an active customer order. You would interact with candidates to complete the prescreening process, oversee any applicable testing or assessments, and extend conditional offer to join the Talent Pool.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communication and coordination with candidates to complete the pre-screening processes and activities to confirm their eligibility to be added to the Talent Pool or to be put forward for an active customer order.
  • Facilitate the completion of applicable pre-screening and testing and update the candidate’s profile in the Associate Tracking System (ATS) to reflect the actions completed as well as the results/skills.
  • Extend conditional offers and attach candidates to orders in the ATS, if applicable.
  • Oversees the handoff to the Onboarding and Placement team, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience for the candidate.
  • Assist with scheduling paperwork sessions with the field when required.
  • Maximize Adecco's office technology to ensure optimum, cost-effective, timely and high-quality results.

  • Superior organizational skills; meeting deadlines consistently, while effectively managing multiple tasks and prioritizing any new tasks as required.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong candidate relationships.
  • Display a willingness to cooperate and work as part of a team.
  • Assist others when required and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Position Requirements:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, or 1 year of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • One (1) year related working experience in a sales/customer service role, preferably in a service industry.
  • Technical Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of labor and employment laws, experience/knowledge of general HR practices is an asset.
  • Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail applications.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset.
