What you'll do
- Craft and execute strategic sales plans for corporate goals.
- Direct sales forecasts and performance benchmarks.
- Analyze markets, identify needs, and create trade programs.
- Manage sales distribution, territories, and quotas.
- Lead Eastern Canada's key focus customers.
- Nurture relationships with Retail accounts and Sales Distributors.
- Present products at industry events to boost visibility.
- Collaborate with Brokers for impactful sales presentations.
- Explore new markets via distribution channels.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for product registrations.
- Drive product and service development to meet market needs.
- Travel to territories, negotiate deals, and hit sales targets.
- Monitor accounts, evaluate competition, and seize opportunities.
- Implement creative trade and shopper marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to financial planning and new product launches.
- Forecast sales volume, optimize trade investments.
- Develop category management solutions.
- Execute marketing plan sales material and analyze results.
- Leverage data insights for strategic decisions.
- Maximize all sales opportunities for aligned growth.
Qualifications
- You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field from an accredited institution.
- You must have at least 5 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
- Your background should include a minimum of 5 years in CPG/Retail Sales/Key account management, with expertise in engaging with major retailers such as Loblaw, Walmart, Sobeys, Metro, and others.
- Proven sales strategy and negotiation skills within the Retail Food Industry
- Analytical mindset for effective problem-solving.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
