Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Software Developer for a permanent position with our Private Client in Montreal, QC or in Gatineau, ON. The successful candidate will be involved in developing technologies such as fast packet processing and security solutions. This position requires C/C++, Linux, RTOS, NOS, protocols and Broadcom SDK expertise.

The Senior Software Developer will have the following responsibilities:
- Enabling clients to move from proprietary hardware equipment to cloud software systems.
- Developing packet processing and security solutions technologies.

The Senior Software Developer must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- BSc or higher degree in CE/EE/CS or equivalent
- 5+ year experience of software development
- Solid L3 or MPLS protocols development experience (BGP, LDP, RSVP, SR, L3VPN, VPLS, or IPv4/6 unicast/multicast)
- Deep understanding of protocol standards and use cases (RFC, ITU, etc.)
- Experience in Software development in C/C++ and Linux
- Hands-on Broadcom SDK integration experience on Strata DNX family
- Experience in traffic routing through different nodes using different protocol versions
- Experience Implementing state machines or algorithms to process control plane messages
- Experience in packet processing and flow control

Nice to have:
- Security experience such as IPSec, SSL/TLS, VPNs, DPI, Authentication, etc.
- Protocol experience in L4-L7 layers as TCP, SCTP, GTP, SIP, DIAMETER or similar
- Experience with Linux kernel or device driver
