Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Laboratory Technician to work an extendable one-year contract, at one of Canada's largest petroleum refiners in Nanticoke, ON.  If you have a Laboratory Technician Diploma or you are a Polytechnic graduate with a chemical, process or technical engineering background, then apply now!

  • Pay Rate: $ 32/hour
  • Location: Nanticoke, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM – 4 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | One Year-Term Contract

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support/assist the lab supervisors/chemists by performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples, to support plant operations for the purpose of quality assurance/control
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of test equipment
  • Prepare samples and ensure accurate data generation and records, in accordance with the standard operating procedures
  • Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues
  • Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, as well as set preparation standards

    • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Lab technician Diploma or Polytechnic graduate with a Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering background is required
  • 1 -3 years of experience working in Industrial Laboratory is a must
  • Experience in quality control systems is preferred
  • Should be computer-literate
  • Must be local to Nanticoke or willing to relocate
  • Should have accomplished the BSO training before start date
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
