Position Overview: Adecco Is currently accepting resumes for multiple full-time on-going roles within the Quinte region. In these role's, selected candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of industrial duties including but not limited to; assembly line work, general labourer, quality inspections, and packing. Ideal candidates will have prior industrial experience, be available to work on an ongoing, full-time basis, have flexible availability to work various shifts, and have a team-player attitude.

Position Title: Various Industrial Positions 

Location: Quinte Region (Trenton and/or Belleville, ON)

Job Type/Duration: Full-time, Temporary

Pay Range: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience/qualifications)

Shift Information: Multiple Shifts available; 8 Hour Rotating Shifts (days, afternoons, nights), 12 Hour Rotating Shifts (days and nights) and possibility of straight shifts

Work Setting: Industrial/Manufacturing

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting raw material for quality prior to feeding product into production machines
  • Performing routine and changeover sterilization of machinery, tools, and surfaces
  • Following the production schedule and direction from team leaders, ensure that material is processed with the goal of optimizing efficiency and limiting quality issues
  • Performing visual inspections of finished product and packaging  
  • Packaging and labeling finished product
  • Weigh finished product
  • Work with Quality Control, Maintenance Departments, Team Leads, and Supervisors to communicate information both verbally and within production reports pertinent to the manufacturing process
  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • Completion of Grade 12/GED Equivalency is preferred, though equivalent work experience will be considered. Post-secondary education or certifications in a relevant field including manufacturing, skilled trades, etc. is also preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial or general labour setting is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in assembly, production, machine operator, or quality positions within a manufacturing facility.
  • Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English Language. Candidates should be comfortable working in teams. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and understand manufacturing processes. Candidates must be reliable and punctual.  
  • Candidates will be required to perform repetitive movements throughout the duration of shifts including standing for extended periods, sitting for extended periods, and bending, twisting, and lifting as needed.
  • Candidates must be available to work various shifts and be available to work full-time hours.
  • Refer a friend or family member and you'll be eligible to receive a $100 bonus after your referral completes 80 hours of work.
