Adecco is now hiring a Lead/Crew Installer for one of our clients. This is a company that makes communities a better place through play. Our clients' specialized construction services for playgrounds and parks infrastructure have been recognized throughout the industry.

Preference given to those with experience working in our industry or carpentry, landscaping and irrigation, concrete, form setting, and building metal structures.

Job Requirements

  • As a lead/crew installer, you will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the installation of playground/ splashpad equipment, shade structures and site furnishings on a variety of projects assisting our project managers and reporting directly to the owners.
  • Ensure compliance to OHS as well as company policy.
  • Maintain schedules and reports while following strict project timelines.
  • Ability to travel and stay out of town as required with per diem compensation
  • Anticipate long Spring, Summer and Fall hours with modified Winter.
  • Essential Skills

  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to supervise and assist effectively. Have leadership skills with a positive attitude.
  • Be punctual, self-motivated and dependable
  • Demonstrate quality workmanship
  • Have acute safety awareness
  • Be observant and detail oriented
  • Have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift at least 50 lbs., be able to work outdoors for extended lengths of time.
  • Be knowledgeable on the use of power tools, hand tools and machinery.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of how to read plans and complete layouts for projects.
  • Have at least 2 - 3 years’ experience in the construction field.
  • Bobcat / Skid Steer / Front End Loader experience a plus
  • Potential landscaping and irrigation experience a plus.
  • Concrete slab, sidewalk construction, concrete curbs, concrete forming experience a plus
  • Have no felony convictions or charges that would prevent you from accessing a school or municipal installation
  • Physical Requirements

  • Work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.
  • Work from ladder scaffolding, aerial lift, uneven ground
  • Ability to lift 65 pounds of weight repeatedly throughout assigned workday.

    Annual Salary: $50,000 - $70,000


  • College Diploma or equivalent
  • Industry Certifications relating to OHS and or job duties are favourable.
