Adecco is currently hiring for a Leasing & Asset Analyst in Downtown Toronto. The Leasing & Asset Manager is accountable for the efficient, on-time, and accurate delivery of leasing reporting and analysis of deal values. Other responsibilities include making recommendations on deal structures and leasing strategies as well as the coordination and compilation of information from regional offices and external sources in the industry.

To be considered for this Leasing & Asset Analyst role, you must have 3-year Commercial Real Estate experience.

This is an 18-month contract and has a pay rate $46.00 /hour

Leasing & Asset Analyst

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the AVP Leasing and the regional leasing teams to determine the most efficient deal structures and possible leasing strategies
  • Prepare portfolio and transaction modelling using Argus Enterprise and Excel financial models to assess deal value/impact on a building or portfolio.
  • Understand the triggers and assumptions that underlie your models and be able to effectively communicate those assumptions
  • Review lease proposals, flag errors, contradictions, or issues.
  • Review all negotiated lease concessions to make sure they are generally limited to policy and/or standard company practice and advise AVP Leasing of any exceptions.
  •  Work with the accounting team and external service providers to maintain an accurate inventory and database of the portfolios, i.e. stacking plans, space measurements, and lease terms.
  •  Liaise with the Systems Group to design, recommend, and implement any changes required to the database/reports.
  • Prepare routine leasing and budgeting reports, and summary reports for management review.
  • Assist AVP Leasing in the periodic update and maintenance of the SharePoint leasing manual.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting drawing from knowledge of internal systems and databases.

Leasing & Asset Analyst Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education, preferably in Business/Finance/Real Estate.
  • Working knowledge of Argus Enterprise.
  • Excellent computer, spreadsheet, analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Financial modelling ability – development of financial reports and variance calculations, and an understanding of financial technical terms and methodology
  • Excellent organization skills – the ability to process and file many tasks at once with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Self-starter – ability to excel on a high learning curve and quick knowledge of databases and systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills.
