Legal Administrative Assistant


Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Legal and National Sales & Compliance departments. This role supports the field branches with contract compliance to ensure that Adecco remains compliant with legal requirements.

Successful candidates will have 2-3 years of legal or administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and strong research and writing skills.

Legal Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:


Monitors the Legal Department’s email inbox, schedules incoming requests for contract reviews and legal advice and maintains a department task list so that tasks are completed by the scheduled date.


Makes requested changes to company template agreements on case by case basis in a timely manner.


Drafts basic contract amendments and corporate resolutions and circulates these for signing.


Drafts correspondence responding to requests for information or employee personnel files.


Filing of annual municipal and provincial business licenses.


Assists with the tracking of uncapped liability contracts, and the preparation of quarterly legal and other corporate legal reports.


Performs administrative functions for the legal department including photocopying legal documents and files as appropriate, managing department scheduling, and ensuring all binders/folders are organized and up to date.


Performs other duties and miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by the Legal Department.



Legal Administrative Assistant Qualifications:



Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
Minimum of 2-3 years of legal or administrative experience, preferably within a service or sales oriented environment.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook and Teams).
Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Superior organizational skills. While meeting deadlines consistently, is able to effectively manage multiple tasks, and prioritize any new tasks as required.
Proactive and able to solve problems effectively and rapidly using excellent analytical skills.
Proven consistently high levels of customer service performance, with an ability to build strong client relationships.
Displays a willingness to cooperate and work as part of a team, assisting others when required.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
