Our growing London client who is a leader in the Legal industry is looking for a Legal Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year related experience. Please note we are looking for an individual that will enjoy doing the administrative functions of the legal department... court attendance etc will not be required!
The following are the responsibilities: Support the daily operations of the Legal Department. Responsible to manage daily reports, trackers, an individual file load on a daily basis, and deal with external vendors and lawyers. Job Description Using general industry knowledge and document preparation skills, support the Legal Department with: Assist in the preparation and prompt delivery of supporting documentation to contingency agency/attorney network. Manage an active legal queue Draft occasional Affidavits of Service related to claims Assist with Legal Triage Back up to our general legal inbox (balance calculators, statement of accounts, organization of document preparation requests, etc.) Prepare documentation for court hearings related to legal attorney network and legal contingency agency. Manage legal attorney network, legal contingency agency, and claim process deadlines Liaison between out of province legal attorney network and legal contingency agency Using general industry knowledge, support the Legal Department with: Manage invoice approvals Daily file status updates Daily administrative tasks, including scanning documents to system of record Support various departments: Assist with the out of province legal accrual process Additional duties as requested Salary 34K-37K If you are interested in this fantastic role then please email your resume directly to asap.
