Adecco has partnered with Rochling Engineering Plastics in Orangeville. Our client is a leading plastic product manufacturer who is at the forefront of product development and manufacturing technology. We are currently recruiting for a licensed Millwright on a permanent basis. Summary Install, repair, dismantle and maintain industrial plant machinery and equipment. Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings. Dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to plans, using hand and power tools. Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, setup and repair of machinery Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions. Moves machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks. Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls. Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or setup of machinery. Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery. Use hand and power tools and welding equipment.

Interest in building and repairing a variety of mechanical system. Knowledge of computerized machinery. Physical strength and stamina. Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications. Ability to visualize a layout by looking at plans. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to work to exacting standards. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to get along well with coworkers. Ability to work at heights or in cramped spaces. Safety awareness and a responsible work attitude. Mathematical and mechanical ability. An analytical approach to problem-solving. Interest in keeping uptodate in the field. Environment is hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment. Repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, stooping etc.).  Necessary to wear Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe boots, etc.) Working at heights. Requirements Successful candidate must have status (license) as a Industrial Mechanic Millwright. Successful candidate must have credible job experience. Must have demonstrated ability to handle detailed mechanical work with exacting tolerances and methodologies. Must be able to work in an environment where priorities change, jobs are interrupted for higher priority and picked up again as priority demands. Ability to handle the physical requirements of the job, which includes lifting, climbing, handling of heavy parts and equipment, and sometime, demanding repetitive physical work.
 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday. Either days or afternoons or could be a combination rotation. Start Date Effective immediately
