Adecco is currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer for a full-time permanent contract role with our client based out of downtown, Ottawa, ON.
The Litigation Lawyer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lea/ collaborate litigation cases with confidence and autonomy.

  • Draft, review, and manage essential case documents and proceedings.

  • Ensure exceptional client service during mediations, discoveries, and court proceedings.

  • Conducting legal research

  • Overseeing work delegated to students.

  • Conducting examinations for discovery, cross-examinations, and other examinations

  • Treat sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.

  • Employ strategic thinking to navigate complex legal challenges.

The Litigation Lawyer must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Must hold an LLB and be licensed with the Law Society of Ontario

  • 3-5 Years Experience within either Criminal or Civil Litigation is preferred·

  • A license to practice law in Ontario.

  • Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

  • Strong command of English & French (verbal and written)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to handle carriage of a variety of litigation files.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
