Adecco is currently hiring a Clinical Logistics Coordinator for our Medical Manufacturer in Ottawa West. This is a full-time contract for approximately 1 year with potential for extension. We are offering full time hours, working Monday-Friday for this contract. Compensation to be determined based on experience.
Clinical Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
Performs/directs complex tests, procedures, analysis and/or interpretations
Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Acts independently or works under consultative direction toward predetermined goals.
Actively participates in development of work plans, assignments and priorities.
Demonstrates independence by prioritizing and completing assignments.
Troubleshoots and/or solves very complex problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
Develops information which extends the existing boundaries of knowledge in a given area of expertise.
Performs and guides technical activities resulting from self-initiated or assigned programs leading to innovative applications of existing or new products, systems or technologies having major importance to the function/department.
May provide technical direction to less experienced staff.
Takes an active role in seeking out areas for improvement and actively incorporates continuous improvement ideas and methodology into daily work.
Understands and complies with Quality and EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines.
Safeguards the environment and facilitates a safe and healthy workplace culture.
Clinical Logistics Coordinator Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree (Life Sciences, Biochemistry/Chemistry, Supply Chain or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail required
Work in a regulated (GCP, GLP, GMP) environment preferred.
Experience with clinical studies is an asset.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts is an asset.
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Lotus Notes.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established schedule and to multi-task.
Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications.
Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationship; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
Ability or aptitude to provide solutions or contingency plans through the comprehensive review of alternatives.
Ability to work independently and in groups.
Ability to quickly gain knowledge, understanding or skills and willingness to learn.
