Adecco is currently hiring for a full time, permanent role as a Logistics Coordinator located in Guelph, ON. To qualify for this role, you must have experience managing trucking requirements for various paving and construction projects. You will develop and implement ways to find new brokers and ensure site and plant efficiencies are met for all truck requirements. Consideration is given to individuals with prior plant logistics experience, especially from an operational standpoint.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational capabilities and be able to manage multiple projects at once. You will also drive company health and safety compliance, along with ensuring that productivity and delivery objectives are met. This full time, permanent role allots a salary range of $50,000-$65,000, which is commensurate with experience.

Apart from the summary above, additional responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and management of the fleet for paving, excavation, and granular transport on construction sites
- Allocating trucks by organizing, analyzing, and overseeing the assigned work load and providing feedback to the operations team for service requirements
- Direct communication with drivers, the asphalt plant, and site foreman with regularity to ensure site efficiencies
- Distribution of daily trucking schedule to construction staff and management
- Schedule and call out snow removal personnel to required sites to facilitate snow removal activities
