Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Logistics Coordinator in Mississauga. To qualify for this Logistics Coordinator role, you must have more than 3 Years Shipping and Logistics qualifications. Our client is a global provider of products and systems that improve the quality and cost efficiency in healthcare and life sciences. The pay rate for this position is $23/hour.

 Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform ERP system transactions including PO receipts, count adjustments, scrap adjustments, return receipts, delivery correction and regeneration, and ship transactions as required.
  • Perform physical counts in the Mississauga warehouse per the established count schedule and when ad hoc requests are made.
  • Release order demand proposals (POs) to internal and external suppliers in an efficient and responsive fashion.
  • Confirm orders to customer support for delivery of parts, disposables and equipment.
  • Expedite priority POs with internal and external suppliers.
  • Provide both verbal information and written reports as requested by management.
  • Provide support to the warehouse with picking and packing when required.
  • Participates in all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.

                                     

 

Logistics Coordinator Qualifications:

 

  • Completion of post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 3 years’ work-related experience.
  • Computer literacy; familiarity with information technology concepts, personal computers, Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.

· Ability to perform data entry and communicate electronically with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment. 

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Quality Requirements:

  • You must have the education and experience to understand and comply with Canadian and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).

  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge and compliance with all environmental, safety and health policies. Make management aware of any actual or potential hazards in work environment and recommend any improvements to reduce exposure.

Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments.
