Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary full time Bilingual Long Term Disability (LTD) Case Manager job in Halifax, NS. To qualify for this Bilingual LTD Case Manager role, you must have excellent French and English communication skills, post-secondary education, knowledge of group benefits and Canadian Forces terminology. Bilingual LTD Case Manager Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the analysis and adjudication of Long Term Disability claims, taking into account contractual, medical and investigative information in an effort to make competent and timely disability determinations
• Duties rely on your sound analysis of the disability contract and your ability to think strategically and to apply good judgment
• Assessment of long term disability claims including the identification, and analysis of medical, contractual, and eligibility information
• Development of case management plans
• Communicate/consult with claimants, internal/external providers and government agencies

Bilingual LTD Case Manager Qualifications:

• Excellent French and English communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Post-Secondary education; with at least 1 year of relevant experience, within Disability and/or Group Benefits
• Sound knowledge of medical terminology, medical management, pharmacology
• Knowledge of Canadian Forces terminology
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, negotiating, and influencing skills
