Adecco is currently hiring Machine Operators for a client in Scarborough, Ontario
These are temporary to permanent opportunities, with various shifts available!
Start Date: As soon as possible Pay rate: $15/hr Various Shifts available: Monday to Friday 7:30am 4pm and 4pm to 12am Responsibilities: Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines .
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 months experience as a Machine Operator Ability to work in a fastpaced, highspeed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is asset.
Perform necessary preoperation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
Attention to detail is required
Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
Effective communication skills written and verbal
