Adecco is searching for a mail clerk based in downtown Vancouver on behalf of our client, one of Canada's largest banking groups. The multifactied role may include: sorting checks, keeping payroll records, and taking inventory, and distributing mail. The successfulty will have the ability to work independently and display proficient time management skills and will be able to work effectively towards deadlines. 

This position is a two-month contract. Candidates must be available on either 8th, 11th or 12th March between 9.30am-3.00pm. This postion pays $17.41 per hour.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints. 
  • Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages. 
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
  • Compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports. 
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.

  • Verbal and written communication skills, multitasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • High school diploma or GED typically required. 
  • 2-4 years administrative/customer service related experience required.
