Adecco Professional has partnered with a large, international firm to find top talent for a Mailroom Coordinator job opening in Mississauga, ON.  This 6-month direct hire contract will require the hired individual to work Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.  Please note this is an in-office position and will require the person to go into Toronto (downtown core) for paid training for the first 2-3 weeks – there will be additional compensation provided for this!  Please read on to see if this might be a perfect match for your skills and experience.

 

Some of the responsibilities for the Mailroom Coordinator job opening in Mississauga, ON may include but are not limited to:

 

  • Sort, open and distribute mail to appropriate departments and team members in a timely fashion
  • Scanning of mail items
  • Handle both the inbound and outgoing mail and couriers; preparation of the items is required
  • Ensure accurate details and information is provided before sending out items; this could require follow up with the sender
  • Logging and tracking the incoming and outgoing mail as well as couriers
  • Ensuring the service level agreements are being adhered to at all times

  • Successful completion of post-secondary education
  • At least 1 year of directly related experience; asset to those with experience in the financial/banking industry
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment while keeping a focus on the attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills in MS Office, experience with scanning documents
  • You must be able to provide 2 strong business references and pass a credit and criminal background check
