Adecco is currently hiring for a Maintenance Electrician based in Stoney Creek. To qualify for this Maintenance Electrician role, you must be a licensed electrician, and have a background of at least 1 years of industrial maintenance experience. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving equipment issues within the plant. 

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair production equipment and electrical control systems
  • Recommending improvements
  • Replace/repair defective parts of machines, adjust alignments of moving parts
  • Electrical troubleshooting/ fault-finding
  • PLC troubleshooting

Maintenance Electrician Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario electrical licenses (442A, 309A)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a food production facility
  • Knowledge/understanding of CFIA/WHMIS/GMP
  • Must be flexible to rotate shifts

Maintenance Electrician Compensation:

  • Compensation: base wage of $30/hr
  • Unionized environment
  • Benefits coverage – up to 90%
  • Vacation time in first year
