Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, in Fort McMurray, AB, to work at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. In this diverse role, you will be developing job plans that support safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient maintenance and outage work to meet strategy-based maintenance requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote safe working practices in production and scheduling
Follow the work breakdown structure for maintenance schedules
Collaborate with maintenance and operations for priority setting and outage achievements
Develop and maintain detailed task lists to assist in job plan creation
Build and distribute weekly/daily schedules to the maintenance team
Facilitate scheduled development meetings and create capacity outlook reports
Submit progress reports and compare actuals with planned projections
Analyze earned value to identify possible issues
Requirements and Qualifications:
Mechanical engineering with mobile experience or HET (Heavy equipment technician) certification is required
A Trade certification is an asset
Minimum three years of planning and scheduling experience combined with 5 years of experience in the mining/oil & gas industry are required
Mobile equipment maintenance experience is an asset
Experience with SAP is also a requirement
Should have a deep understanding of planning and scheduling concepts, performance measures, scheduling tools and techniques
A valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record are needed
Must have excellent communication and people skills with the ability to work professionally with other team members at various levels
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
