Adecco is currently recruiting for a Contract, Full-time Maintenance Scheduler role for our Client in Calgary, AB. The primary function of the Maintenance Scheduler would be to provide the logistical coordination necessary to enable the client to complete their annual work plan in the most efficient and effective manner possible. This includes a high volume of interaction with other departments within the company. You will report to the Manager, Maintenance Analysis, Planning and Scheduling in the Maintenance Program Delivery department. This is a contract position for 6 months, with possible extension.


Maintenance Scheduler Job Responsibilities

  • Create and finalize the annual work calendar by technical discipline.
  • Work with other Schedulers, Planners and the Manager to create the integrated annual calendar.
  • Assign work to individuals or groups utilizing SAP/MRS software scheduling tool.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and other parts of the organization to ensure efficient management of work and resources.
  • Ensure all other parts of the organization fulfill their requirements in supporting the forecasting and scheduling of work.
  • Monitor and report the completion of all scheduled work and variances to the schedule.
  • Ensure action is created when work is not completed as scheduled.
  • Create Outage Requests Forms with input from Field staff

Maintenance Scheduler Job Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma (preferably in the Electrical discipline) or related Technical Certificate (e.g. Journeyman Power System Electrician).
  • Related technical and/or planning/scheduling experience: 5+ years with Technical Diploma and 7+ years with Technical Certificate.
  • Experience with SAP / MRS would be beneficial.
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Proactive, ability to work under minimal direction and multitask and strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
