Adecco is currently hiring for a  Maintenance Support Engineer in Regina, SK. The Maintenance Support Engineer will be required to provide technical services and industry principles, standards, practices, and technology to support the safe operation and maintenance of the company¿s electrical and instrumentation systems..

Responsibilities : 

- Provide technical support for electrical and instrument equipment through the investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems.

- Maintain awareness of industry standards; evaluate and prepare recommendations for new technology, products, and maintenance procedures. 

- Lead testing of new electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment. 

- Manage regulatory quality control programs to ensure compliance with external regulatory authorities. Dead with and resolve reports of non-conformance. 

- Prepare detailed designs and associated cost estimates for simple or complex projects in accordance with approved engineering practices, procedures, and standards. 

- Implement multi-year plans for major electrical maintenance initiatives and administrate these programs to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. 

- Coordinate and oversee maintenance testing on equipment. Provide knowledge transfer to field Electricians on this specialized testing. 

- Act as a central gathering point for operating and maintenance experience gained in the field and ensure that this experience is shared with other workers in other operating districts. 

- Schedule and review field electrical maintenance work activities. Define work requirements, documentation, and milestones. 

- Check with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) for updates on parts, services, and documentation 

- Create technical support documents related to electrical maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : 

* A background in the oil and gas industry in an Engineering role. 
* A background in Electrical Maintenance standards such as CSA Z462, CSA Z463, NETA MTS, NFPA 70E or equivalent. 
* Experience with the following software would be beneficial
* Microsoft Excel ¿ Pivot Table and Macro creation
* Computerized Maintenance Management System (OneWorld or equivalent)
* Experience understanding databases would be an asset

Qualification : 

Preferred - Bachelor of Electrical or Electronic Systems Engineering 
Alternative - Industrical Systems Engineering
