Adecco is currently hiring for a full time Maintenance Support Operations Engineer in Regina, SK. Our client supports several community organizations and is committed to many community endeavors.

Maintenance Support Operations Engineer Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, review and approve detailed engineering designs, software and business reports.
  • Apply and assist in the development of operation and maintenance related standards and specifications.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that provide business benefits of reduced costs or enhanced business process or information.
  • Provide technical support by applying engineering principles in the investigation, analysis and resolution of operation and maintenance related problems.
  • Lead and provide guidance and technical support for system trouble shooting assignments.
  • Manage assigned projects involving operation and maintenance related work to ensure projects proceed safely and according to planned schedules.
  • This includes:

  • Seek project approvals, ensuring proper governance is in place for proceeding with the project.
  •   Develop and prepare cost estimates.
  •   Develop and prepare scope documents and obtain funding approvals within governance guidelines.
  • Prepare and administer project schedules and plans.
  • Coordinate project schedules with internal and external resources.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of progress, schedule, outages and budget status.
  • Procure material and services.
  • Oversee construction and commissioning activities to ensure quality and Company standards are met.
  • Manage assigned project and Capital resources and budgets.
  • Provide project administration and file documentation.
  • Prepare and evaluate or review final project results.
  • Complete project closure documentation following project completion.
  • Skills and Experience:

    Experience with the following software would be beneficial

  • MS Office, Project Server, Share Point, ESRI GIS
  • Other:

  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Management decision making skills
  • Background in the oil and gas industry in an engineering role
  • Knowledge of CSA Z662 and ASME B31.3
  • Good understanding of Engineering Drawings (PI&D, GA)
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance
  • Education Requirements:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering
  • Alternative: Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering
