Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, Manager - Customer Service to work directly for our client located in Vaughan/Concord, ON. In this role, you will coordinate the work assignments for residential repairs. The position will oversee the Service Department, schedule work, and track warranty claims till completion. The manager will schedule each claim in logical steps and budgeted time required to meet client and company deadlines. They are responsible for coordinating with the service technicians and foreman for each project. In addition, the Customer Service Manager they will prepare purchase orders and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreement

  • Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Customer Service responsibilities of residential tile projects
  • Oversees coordinated service repair work on homes
  • Clearly reports and communications field conditions to management and department heads
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition materials and supplies
  • Responding to and resolving all customer service requests
  • Manage customer expectations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is being
    presented in all customer interactions
  • Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units and departments
  • Examine and verify accuracy of work
  • Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
  • Prepare purchase orders within contractual agreement
  • Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Must have at least 5 years recent experience working in the flooring/tiling industry
  • Ability to Supervise 2-3 people
  • Post-secondary education (college/university) an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Customer Service
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in the English language - able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Proven data entry, data editing and typing skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
