Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis l $110K – 120K+ l Richmond, BC l Permanent


Adecco Professionals is partnered up with a reputable retail client to recruit for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join a transforming team. This will be a key role for the incumbent to oversee the annual budget/forecast process, governance around financial KPIs/business intelligence and provide strategic analysis support to the Senior Leadership Team on major business and investment decisions.


Responsibilities:

Oversee and establish best practices within the Annual Budget and Forecast process
Advise and collaborate with the Executives and their direct reports to deliver the business’ strategic initiatives
Provide ongoing decision support, financial modeling, business case development and ad hoc analyses as requested by the Leadership team
Strengthen the governance around financial KPIs, reporting and business intelligence
Re-engineer the FP&A reporting calendar and provide insightful and timely reporting on business KPIs, macroeconomic indicators and market share
Lead the transition of existing KPI reports and dashboards from the current Business Intelligence (BI) platform to Microsoft Power BI
Maintain and improve the existing long-term cash flow model used to evaluate long-term investment decisions
Lead, mentor and coach a team of Financial Analysts
Design and implement a standardized approach to preparing business cases, financial models and ad hoc financial analysis.


Requirements:

CPA (CA CGA, CMA), CFA or MBA
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Finance roles with at least 3 years in leading a FP&A team
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working closely with and presenting to senior stakeholders
Experience developing executive presentations with appropriate balance of detail, messaging and visualizations
Extensive experience in budgeting/forecasting, strategic analysis and management reporting
Ability to analyze, interpret and simplify complex financial models, reports and other financial information
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel modeling skills
Proven Leadership skills
Microsoft Power BI experience is an asset
Experience in a retail environment is an asset.
