Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Manufacturing Engineer in Markham. To be considered for this Manufacturing Engineer role, you must have minimum 2 years experience in this field. Our client is an electonics manufacturing company that deals with medical devices.

Pay rate: Day shift: $30/h Afternoon shift: $33/h Night shift: $34.50/h

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and assessing process performance and enhancements through continuous improvement initiatives using “First Time Build” process design execution and reporting.
  • Understanding the latest manufacturing techniques, the Manufacturing Engineer is expected to implement continuous improvement programs and strive for excellence with the use of tools such as SPC and DOE.
  • Works on issues of limited scope.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • Normally receives detailed instruction on all work.
  • Has the authority to make responsible decisions comparable to scope of position.
  • Coordinates requirements, planning, scheduling, monitoring milestones and costs, and works to remove barriers to project success.
  • Performs qualification on new processes being introduced.
  • Implements engineering changes. ·
  • Defines and sets up product routing and SFDC.
  • Performs time studies.
  • Manages the BOM and allocations.           
  • Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:

  • Requires a University degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
