Adecco is currently hiring for multiple Manufacturing Opportunities with our client in the South end of Ottawa. These are contract opportunities to start with potential to turn permanent based on performance. We are offering Full Time hours Monday to Friday on Days, Evenings and Midnight shifts. Flexibility to train on a Day shift Monday to Friday is required for the first few weeks prior to moving to Evenings or Midnights. Opportunities start at $15 per hour with premiums for shifts.

Day Shift Hours are 6am to 2:30pm

Evening Shift Hours are 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Midnight Shift Hours are 10:30pm to 6:30am

Limited Bus Availability to this location – access to a vehicle would be ideal

Manufacturing Duties:

  • Machine set up and operations
  • Basic Programming
  • Count, feed, unload and package product
  • Paperwork Completion
  • Cross movement within the production environment

 

Manufacturing Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Previous Machine Operation experience an asset
  • Reliable
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Good computer knowledge for reports and reconciliations
  • Access to transportation for off shifts
  • Flexibility to transfer to other shifts based on business needs
  • Eligible to obtain a Controlled Goods Designation with a Clean criminal record check
