Adecco is currently hiring for full-time Manufacturing Worker in Ottawa, ON to work a 12-month contract for our client, a global leader that majors in the Medical Device Manufacturing industry. In this role, you will support the disposition and release of wafers and manufactured components to the die bank inventory. If you have previous experience in a manufacturing environment and strong attention to detail, this job is for you!

  • Shifts: 4 days on-duty, 4 days off-duty | 12hrs shift | 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Job type: 12-month contract | Full time

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Disposition and electronically release Wafers\Components to Die Bank Inventory
  • Establish and complete filing of Wafer, Component and Fluid Pack DHR
  • Disposition and release Fluid Pack post testing and data entry
  • Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as required
  • Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma, or equivalent experience is required
  • 1-3 years of related work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and QA environment is a must
  • A good manufacturing practice experience and knowledge of quality are an asset.
  • Able to plan, organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established
    schedule
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
  • Must be Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
  • Able to convey communications clearly, concisely and accurately
  • Capable of forming and developing interpersonal, professional relationships and displaying a
    socially and professionally appropriate behavior
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
