Marketing Supervisor


Our client in Markham, ON is looking for a Marketing Supervisor to join their team. The Marketing Supervisor is responsible for building the brand awareness and supporting industry segments, product families and regional activities while leading the Marketing team. Creatively applies and supports tools, services, processes and infrastructure to achieve the goal of excellent service. 


Marketing Supervisor Primary Responsibilities:


·Possesses strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with Digital Marketing skills and market/business knowledge to create a customer-focused vision for the future. 

·Analyzes online statistics and identifies the best practices to optimize online marketing performance.

·Establishes a sustainable Digital Marketing platform and tools that can tie into CRM systems and product analysis.

·Identify gaps in current brand digital presence and implement action plans, which is communicated via the marketing team to the sales organization, channel and customers.

· Manages the work of 1-2 Marketing specialists responsible for providing marketing creation and support to the sales channels.

·Provides leadership, coaching and training to peers.

·Engages with Product Managers to understand and evaluate competitive positions with respect to new entrants.

·Refines and implements the marketing and key product/program initiatives with specific focus on driving growth, brand awareness, and lead generation.

·Ensure all new product introductions are properly supported with product promotions, sales literature, stocking programs and appropriate training tools.

·Together with the MD and RSMs analyze and determine total market potential and establishment/implement of marketing strategies.

·Improve short and long-range business performance in terms of profitability, sales and market penetration.

·Measures, analyzes and reports on KPIs.

·Builds and manages with the Marketing team (Product Marketing, product and market training, press relations, social media, electronic media, print media, mobile marketing, catalogs, collateral materials, and tradeshows).


Marketing Supervisor Qualification/Skills:

·Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing.

·3-5 years of experience in a marketing leadership role.

·2 years minimum experience in digital marketing (automation or technology industry an asset)

·Experience with project management.

·Working experience with SAP is an asset.

·Working experience with CRM system is an asset.

·Experience working with HTML, CSS and Javi.

·Proficiency with MS-Office applications.

·Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

·Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

·Exemplary organizational skills with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

·Ability to work well under pressure with deadlines and adaptable to changing priorities.

·A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

·Detail oriented, keen to learn, motivated with a positive attitude.

· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat.

·Strong analytical and computer/tech skills. (Google analytics, SEO and SEM)
