Adecco is hiring an organized Master Scheduler for the development and management of the "master schedule" to ensure availability of products to deliver on customer commitments for product. The Master Scheduler works closely with Planning, Materials, Operations and Program Management to ensure an uninterrupted flow of product, and reviews and sequences builds for on-time starts and completions to meet customer demand across multiple resources (SMT lines). 


  • Ensuring efficiency in scheduling with CTB utilization, focusing on kitting and SMT resources.
  • Determining priorities based on inputs from functional teams (Planning, Materials, Operations and Program Management) and setting priorities for SMT and kitting accordingly.
  • Identifying and resolving priority conflicts with input from Planning, Materials, Operations and Program Management. Providing feedback to functional teams.
  • Acting as liaison between Purchasing, Planning, Operations and Program Management teams on supply commitments and customer deliveries to meet targets and goals.
  • Working closely with Production personnel on accountabilities and productivity issues.
  • Planning efficient transaction of process with production to ensure zero downtime.
  • Helping to develop strategies and work with operational teams on capacity constraints and equipment utilization.
  • Using knowledge and experience of process flow to provide a useful resource to materials on ERP and other business systems.
  • Monitoring and proactively addressing issues that impact performance to committed ship date, lead times and response times.
  • Helping to drive process and tools improvements where required.
  • Working with Planning group to plan, schedule, and co-ordinate product release based on capacity and material availability.
  • Providing input to management; rescheduling and/or interfacing with Program Management and Production groups in the event of material issues, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
  • Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Contract manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Inventory control and management.
  • Experience in Production control activities.
  • Ability to make decisions requiring significant analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with various functional levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • College diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • APICS certification is an asset.
  • Oracle/ Rapid Response experience is an asset.
  • Compensation and Hours:

  • $25.00 per hour + 4% Vacation Pay
  • Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
