We are on the hunt to fill a Material Coordinator Job in Sarnia, ON. for our major client in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SAP material catalogs and search tools and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a long-term contract job opportunity with a schedule of Monday to Friday.

Material Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with various departments to ensure material requirements are being met
  • Liaise with client/owner Materials coordinator to expedite required client-supplied material
  • Coordinate Material deliveries whenever necessary
  • Liaise with a broad range of staff and vendors either in person or by email to ensure the correct parts are being supplied in a timely manner
  • Package, handle and move inventory within the facility as required
  • Material Coordinator Job Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years experience working in a material management
  • Customer service focused with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Intermediate SAP or high level of computer literacy
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
