Material Handler at Newmarket

Adecco is looking for motivated workers for an electronics manufacturer in Newmarket, ON! To be eligible for these positions you should be comfortable standing and/or walking for the duration of 8 hours shifts and be comfortable with lifting to 35 pounds. No technical expertise is required for this role. Paid and detailed training is provided for all associates. Pay rate begins at $14.00 plus 4 percent vacation pay.

  • $ 500 onetime Christmas Bonus

Material Handler Work Responsibilities

- Comfortable standing and walking for duration of shift

- Receiving, counting, and organizing incoming stock

- Stocking the production floor with necessary materials

- Read and write English

- Basic computer skills


Material Handler Shifts Available:

Morning Shift: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm

Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm

Material Handler Work Qualifications

- Ability to maintain records of goods movement in Microsoft Excel

- Previous knowledge of material replenishment would be added advantage

- Clear criminal background

- Read, speak and write English
