Adecco is currently hiring for a full time, permanent role as a Material Handler in Hamilton, ON. To qualify for this role, you must possess a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, and be willing to work within the wholesale, building, and construction industry. Our client is dedicated to developing your skillset within the company, as well as focusing on maintaining exceptional customer service.

You will be expected to work hard and be a valuable contributor to the whole team. In return, the company will provide you with on-the-job training, profit sharing potential, and the opportunity to develop and advance your career as a future leader with them. A base salary of $40,000 is substantiated by profit sharing, along with a comprehensive benefits package upon completion of the probationary period.

The successful applicant’s responsibilities include:

Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment in the warehouse and yard
Organizing customer orders
Receiving shipments from vendors
Operate warehouse machinery, of which full training will be provided
Loading/unloading of trucks
Receiving in stock, and allocating it accordingly throughout the warehouse
Pick, packing, and shipping customer orders on a daily basis

The successful applicant’s qualifications will be:

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Positive attitude, with a results-oriented mindset
Must work well in a team-based collaborative environment
A strong focus on customer service, with solid interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Valid G-class driver’s license with clean abstract
