Adecco is hiring a Material Handler to perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.  


  • Performs a variety of kitting and order functions.
  • Participates in inter-plant transfers.
  • Door Service (PLR); works with company inventory system.
  • Transfers excess material between customers, and perform cycle count activities.
  • Maintains and updates policies and procedures and trains others as required.
  • Picks and packs products for customer shipments, and puts stock away in the warehouse.
  • Resolves discrepancies and recommends changes to processes to reduce future discrepancies.
  • Replenishes raw material using a variety of established replenishment methods.
  • Expedites shortages or potential shortages in order that manufacturing and/or customer orders can be satisfied in a timely fashion.
  • Enters and verifies the accuracy of all inventory transactions and corrects errors.
  • Completes the set up of new cells or assemblies to back flush.
  • Safely operates material handling and processing equipment.
  • Complies with company safety policies and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instruction only on new assignments.
  • Requirements:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years’ related work experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • CSA Certified Steel-Toed shoes are required
  • Compensation and Hours:

  • $15.50 + 4% Vacation Pay
  • Monday – Friday
    Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
