Excellent contract opportunity for the right candidate!!  Adecco is currently hiring for a 6 month contract as a Mechanical Assembler in Ajax, On.  To qualify for this position, you MUST have 4+ years experience in mechanical background and pass a detailed criminal background check. $28.02 + 4% per hour based on experience.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improves products and processes and participates in quality improvement teams when appropriate
  • Performs all requirements to assemble circuit board to lightplate using screws and screwdriver
  • Checks for light leaks and seals if necessary
  • Able to perform tasks to check lighting
  • Cleans light hole; Installs grommet flanges and fasteners
  • Performs tasks to part mark information on all lightplates
  • Accurately completes all related paperwork and wanding functions.
    Operation of photometer
  • Ability to check panel brightness by eye
  •  Ability to work with small parts
  • Ability to read and understand routings
  • Has developed proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
  • Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience

Mechanical Assembler Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skills.
  • 4+ years experience in the related mechanical field
