  • Job type: Full-time Temporary to permanent
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 4:00PM – 12:00AM, overtime as required

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assembling of products using standard production procedures, mechanical drawings and other written or verbal instructions
  • Performing production electronic/mechanical products including preparing wiring and hardware into closures
  • Reading instructions to follow production drawings and sample assemblies or following verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
  • Performing wiring and other simple cable operations
  • Performing mechanical assembly of final assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electric drives, machines, and other equipment as required
  • Running on-line go/not go testing and inspection, measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards
  • Performing other related duties as assigned and needed
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Meeting set goals and targets
  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years’ experience working in manufacturing assembling
  • Able to perform repetitive heavy lifting
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to weigh and measure items
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
  • Computer literacy, including working skills of MS Excel and e-mail
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside of their position
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes, and oils
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
