Our Client is seeking for an Electrical Assistant Engineer to work in an industrial facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. This role will be responsible for assisting the lead mechanical engineer in the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead mechanical engineer in the design of mechanical systems, including equipment selection, layout, and installation.
Work with maintenance personnel to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, conveyors, and HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical system problems, identifying root causes and developing and implementing solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Conduct engineering calculations and prepare technical reports and documentation to support design decisions and recommendations.
Collaborate with other engineering teams and departments to ensure the smooth integration of mechanical systems into the larger facility infrastructure.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in mechanical engineering technology and apply best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to apply them to real-world problems.
Experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, including knowledge of pumps, compressors, conveyors, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ANSYS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
