As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and ensuring the engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of projects. You'll collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to drive excellence in mechanical engineering within the industry.

Detailed Job Description: As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating and coordinating discipline engineering technical work products.
- Communicating and coordinating various issues between the company's and contractor's engineering teams, focusing on discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluating and providing feedback on work performed by contractors and sub-contractors to ensure alignment with company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and assessing deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements, managing the Deviation Control Log.
- Handling discipline engineering queries and technical information requests.
- Keeping the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns.
- Participating in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor's and subcontractor's locations.
- Promoting capital efficiency in engineering design.
- Supporting internal engineering initiatives as requested by the Supervisor.
Candidate's Profile: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Advanced knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, especially for technical and business communications.
