Adecco is currently hiring for a Permanent, full time Medical Receptionist in Hampton, NB. To qualify for this Medical Receptionist role, you must have a Medical Office Diploma. Administrative experience would be considered an asset.  Our client provides a warm and caring environment for their patients in a very busy office. 

Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Greet patients when they arrive at the office and verify their information.    
• Prepare and pull charts as required.
• Maintaining inventory of office supplies medical and administrative, cleaning supplies, serum ordering
• Review patient files daily, ensuring that lab results are received & communicated to the client as required, follow up appointments are scheduled, patients receive all prescriptions required.
• Liaise with various hospital staff, physician’s offices etc for patient’s appointments/results
• Maintain the integrity of the client/patient data base, ensuring that client addresses, phone numbers and patient information is kept up to date.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms.
• Check office emails and reply accordingly.
• Reconcile daily receipts and prepare bank deposits as well as handling petty cash for office.
• Assist with inventory control and data entry as required.
• Preparation of laboratory forms and samples for delivery.  
• Compilation and invoicing of private insurance forms, mailing, emailing, scanning and faxing of the same.
• Schedule/confirm monthly Diabetic clinic appointments.
• Answer multi-line phone system and book appointments.
• Scheduling/rescheduling and cancelling of patients in EMR    

Medical Receptionist Qualifications:
• College Diploma in Medical Administration, other Administrative experience would be considered an asset.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office experience required.
• Must be a team player who is friendly, patient and enthusiastic with clients.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.
• Accounting Experience.
• Extremely organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a fast learner and enjoy working in a busy environment 
• Experience with office scheduling.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 3:00 pm; you must have some flexibility in these working hours depending on the office requirements.
