Adecco is currently looking for merchandiser for one of is client, Complete merchandising solutions. CMS is currently servicing a large Big Box Retailer by merchandising plants in their in-door and outdoor garden centers. As a merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising in local garden centers with innovative visual displays for a pleasant customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities of the merchandiser:

Responsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a mobile application.
Product knowledge of horticulture and friendly presence is required for the position as you will be expected to establish long-term relationships with customers and garden center staff.
Unload plant deliveries and follow planograms for merchandising setup
Must have transportation and email access
Weekly hours are daytime hours and will vary, weekends are required for Spring season.

Requirement of the merchandiser:

Previous customer service or merchandising experience with an interest in working with plants and flowers
Product knowledge and horticulture / landscape / merchandising labor experience considered an asset
Mobile devise and email proficiency.
Must be able to follow direction (merchandising guidelines and planograms)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and withstand outdoor weather conditions
Available to start as early as 7 am, daytime hours. occasional evening shifts.
Weekend work is required throughout Spring season, including Mother’s Day / Victoria Day weekends. No work on Stat holidays.
Own a car to be able to travel at different locations during the day


Amount of 35 cents per killometer for the distance traveled
Paid from the departure of the house
Salary : 14$/h
Hours : 20-30 per week
