Adecco is currently hiring a Metalforming Millwright for a client in Tottenham ON.

Hours of work: Biweekly rotation 7:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm

Position Summary:  Performs duties required in order to maintain building systems, grounds, and production equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform highly diversified duties to repair and maintain building and production mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on plant facilities and production equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Industrial Mechanic/Millwright (433A License).
  • Experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc.
  • Able to read and understand Operation Standards, blue prints, maintenance and equipment manuals, etc.
  • Experience in use of machine tools (lathe, mill, surface grinder, cut-off tools, etc.), hand and power tools.
  • Skilled at effective communications with people at all levels of the organization
  • Regularly exposed to dust, grease/oil, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
  • Regularly required to be exposed to outside weather/elements.
  • Regularly required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Wage range for this position is $27.85 – $31.85 per hour. Benefit package includes an incentive bonus program worth 7.5% of base pay, paid overtime, complete medical, dental, vision care, prescription drug programs, and a company paid pension plan worth 5% of base pay.

Overtime for this position is as follows : Paid after 8 hours daily, on Saturdays, double time after 8 hours on Saturdays, and double time on Sundays if required to work
