As the Saw operator (Midnight Shift), you are a key team member in running a saw to cut and modify different shapes and sized of foam in accordance with the work order drawing specifications, making certain that inventories meet the expectation of our work order requirements and ensuring production targets are met.

This is a full time position.

Shift Time: Monday-Friday 12:00 AM 8:00 AM (Night Shift). 

Pay rate is $20.90 + 4% 

Location: Steeles Ave & Weston Rd.

At a High-level, your day-to-day will include:

  • Set up and operate the saw according to manufacturers’ specifications
  • Keep the saw, and common areas clean and organized at all times
  • Perform quality checks as per department requirements
  • Engage in support of Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Packaging finished product so it can be shipped out
  • Troubleshooting issues with your machine to fix problems (calling maintenance if needed)
  • Ensure daily production continuously meets the requirements

  • Have machine operator background/experience
  • Understand and can reliably apply all safety policies and regulations
  • Are able to perform physically demanding work
  • Are able to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Work well with hand tools such as saws, drills, sanders, brake press, etc.,
