Millwright needed for a large electronics facility in North York.

The Job:
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, and drawings to determine work procedures
· Trouble-shoot, observe and perform diagnosis of mechanical equipment failures and corrective actions using voltmeters and other testing devices
· Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems
· Repair and replace defective or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
· Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of the repairs
· Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts, perform inspections and repairs
· Use machine tools (grinders, drill press, saws) to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery
· Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
· Operate lift machines as required in the performance of job duties
Your Qualifications & Abilities:
· 3-7 years’ experience as a licensed Millwright
· Demonstrated applied math, mechanical and basic electrical aptitude
· Sound understanding of conveyors, pumps, granulators, pneumatics, and working knowledge of industrial tools
· Experience with Mig, Tig and Arc welding equipment
· Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, and other lift vehicle certifications preferred
