Millwright

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Millwright to work at a well-established and world-class manufacturer located in Palmerston, ON. This is your opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, dynamic, and successful team.

In this role, you will be responsible for primary, secondary, manufacturing, building equipment, soliciting vendors and negotiating pricing. In addition, you will oversee installation of new manufacturing equipment, design/build assembly fixtures and equipment for new and current processes, design processes to maximize manufacturing productivity, improve/expand facilities as required.

  • Pay rate: $33.50/hour
  • Location: Palmerston, ON
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining curtain production equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Research O.E.M. spare parts (or equivalent part)
  • Oversee the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing equipment
  • Communicate with maintenance, injection engineers, and industrial engineers
  • Work in a safe manner and maintain 5S
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role/environment with a relevant electrical qualification (minimum trade, license for associate diploma)
  • General computer skills and knowledge
  • Good oral and written communication in English
  • Ability to communicate with skilled trades at all levels of experience and management
  • Ability to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
  • Must be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive movements throughout the shift
  • May be required to lift up to 60lbs
