Adecco is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Millwright position with our reputable client in Regina, SK. In this role, you will be accountable for the assembly, installation, and repair of machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other specifications.   • Shifts:  Monday -Friday | 8 hours / day

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances

  • Dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications

  • Operate hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and/or repair activities

  • Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment

  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

  • Prepare inspection and service reports

  • Train and mentor fellow apprentices and other staff on Industrial Repair practices

  • Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.

  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.

 Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright or have entered the apprenticeship learning program

  • Capable of reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

  • Able to regularly lift, walk, bend, squat, climb stairs

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
