Our client, a giant in the Automotive and Mining Equipment industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in heavy construction equipment paired with exceptional customer service and sales abilities. This position will ensure customer satisfactions while growing profitability within the department.

Sales Manager Responsibilities

Implementing and establishing goals and targets for the aftermarket service functions to ensure customer satisfaction
Oversee the scheduling of site visits and must be able to understand machine condition inspection reports and proceed with an appropriate action plan.
Maximize parts sale and service solutions opportunities and work on growing service and parts business.
Understand and interpret reports for customers and provide clarification when required
Collaborate with multiple departments to maintain customer base and enhance revenue growth.
Work in conjunction with the parts departments and supervisors to ensure reliable equipment parts supply and inventory levels as well as the availability of shop and field service technicians to maintain and repair customer equipment.
Ensure effective, accurate reporting, data management and record keeping is in place.

Sales Manager Qualifications

Post Secondary education (or equivalent experience with training in the Off-Road Heavy Equipment Industry; Heavy Equipment License an asset
Min. 5 years Management experience in Mining or Heavy Equipment industry
Financial and business acumen and experience with P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience in analyzing key metrics, with use of metrics software to ensure optimal staff performance.
MS Office, and ability to prepare report documentation


100K-150K Base Salary + % bonus
