Our client in Scarborough, ON is looking for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate to join their team.  Ideal candidate will want to learn, train and grow into the Plant Supervisor.

Plant Supervisor Responsibilities:

-Ensures that employees, contractors, third party service providers and contractors comply with OHSA regulations and the company policies and procedures.

-Ensures that contractors, suppliers, visitors, seasonal workers and third party service providers are provided with the written instructions such as GMP’s and Confidentiality Agreement as a matter of company policy.

-Ensures that every reasonable precautions are taken for the safety and protection of both employees (co-workers) and non-employees in their work areas.

-Assist in the implementation of improvements on equipment and processes related to Environmental, Health and Safety.

-Ensures compliance to Health and Safety regulatory and company policy requirements that drives safety habits

-Reports, manages and documents any incidents or findings on safety related matters on a timely manner during his or her shift

-Reports any safety related matters on equipment, processes, employee behaviours, hazards incidents to plant management for resolution as required.

-Assist in the facilities equipment audits and maintenance for its integrity and recommend any repairs as required
